What is a CivTech Challenge?

A CivTech Challenge starts with a real-world problem that a public sector organisation wants to solve. We help you shape that problem into an Open Challenge, inviting innovators to come forward with creative solutions.

What makes a great Challenge Sponsor?

CivTech Sponsors don’t just support innovation — they lead it. A great Sponsor:

• Brings a real-world problem and is passionate about creating better solutions for the intended end user

• Has funding and the people who are committed to supporting the development of new solutions 

• Shares insight and data to guide the solution

• Commits time - typically half a day per week during the Accelerator

• Champions success - helping scale the solution across their organisation or sector
