Speaking about CivTech

Always use our correct name

Always refer to us as CivTech - written exactly like this, as one word with a capital ‘C’ and ‘T’.

Be clear about who we are

CivTech is a Scottish Government programme that brings the public, private and third sectors together to build products that make people’s lives better. We tackle real-world Challenges from government bodies, public agencies, and charities — inviting anyone with a great idea to co-develop solutions with us.

Verify key facts

Double-check data or project references. We are happy to provide current materials, just email civtech@gov.scot.

Help spread the word

Mentioning CivTech in public boosts awareness. Tag us on social media or direct people to www.civtech.scot.

If you want to include a slide about CivTech in a presentation you’re delivering, please use the slide shown below, which is branded appropriately and describes CivTech correctly. You can download a PowerPoint version here and a Keynote version here.

Using our logo in other places

If you want to use the CivTech logo on your website or in a publication, make sure you use the original artwork files, which you can download here.

When using our logo:

  • Do not stretch, crop, recolour, or modify it

  • Maintain plenty of clear space around it — no nearby text or graphics

  • Use the dark logo only on a white background

  • Use the white logo only on a clean dark-coloured background
